as but a youth, our pal danny wars (picture him like little archie, with a huge head and stubby fingers) and his good friend hennion (who even i cannot picture as a child, cartoon or otherwise) made hundreds of these fairly bonkers postcards and actually sold them at dan’s dad’s record store on the cape. i scanned them in and put them on flickr for you all. included in the set is an unsent letter to andy richter. cuuuuute!

Thanks, I remember this collection from my mispent youth riding shotgun in that dilapidated punk rock jalopy , listening to Showcase Showdown at full volume on the boombox, holding the wheel on Rt. 6 so Dan could lace up his 1,000 eyehole boots. Memories are fleeting, Cape Cod forever!
